Carolyn Williamson

Carolyn WilliamsonCarolyn joined the lab in October 2014 to work as a lab manager on the Hsp90/Cdc37 chaperone – kinase project. She graduated from the University of Bath with a BSc(Hons) in Applied Biology specialising in agricultural fungal pathogens and collected fungal experiences by testing fungal pathogens to be used as biological weed control. Carolyn has worked since 2000 as a Research Technician at the University of Bath. For the past nine years she has been screening Geobacillus sp. bacteria for their potential to be developed as a second generation biofuel producers. Carolyn says “In my spare time I am a wife and mother of two!!”
